It was a drive from England, wth Arthur the dog, first of all taking in the German seaside at Ruegen..enjoying the weather and the sea, then for a drive into Berlin.

Berlin was nice, got most of the things i wanted to get sorted, a German bank account, leads on apartments and jobs.

From there it was a drive into Poland, to meet up with Monika and her family, for the great food im always given. The weather was great, so hot and sunny, with some good vodka too!

Got Arthurs treatment at the vets last night(he needed that to get back into England), and stamped in passport...the vet was concerned, i could see something was wrong, with how he was listening to Arthurs heart and the vets face and checking and checking again...he said there was a problem, so i told him back in England his heart stopped under a anesthetic for 2 teeth out a couple of months ago...But i said in England he was ok to travel, just has to take life easy now.

Was meant to be a 3 week trip, but ended up being only 2 weeks...Still lots of fun and nice places, good food and alcohol!

21st Sept

From England we went straight to Niesky to take Martin home (instead of straight to Berlin as planned), then i went to Berlin...after getting lost in Belgium and Holland (thanks to Martin) so ended up being v late in Niesky, half a day late almost....oops. I spent 4 days in Berlin, then to Dresden for the night, then to Cottbus, with a half day in Niesky....I went a few times into Poland, where cigs are 5 times cheaper than England and tobbacco is 20 times cheaper..yes 20 times cheaper!!!!

Left Germany on the 1st Oct about 3pm. headed to Berlin to get to France....picked up a Polish Hitch hiker at a rest stop at Hannover, dropped her off at Antwerp (got into Holland at 23.50) Where i stopped and slept until 9pm ready for my drive to France....back to Old Blighty.

All the reptiles are gone, over a 100 in the last month have been rehomed, and my 1st ever reptile, Schuey the Iguana had for 14 years....now nothing left here, only me and Arthur for the next month or so before we leave...
